Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM or 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) with Call Requirements | Projected Start: September 14, 2026
Key Responsibilities
Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering patient care in the operating room
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other OR personnel to provide safe, high-quality patient care in accordance with State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and regulatory standards
Ensure availability and readiness of surgical supplies and maintain timeliness of cases
Communicate with patients' families and update physician preference cards as needed
Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases across specialties including Orthopedics, Neurology, Robotics, ENT, General Surgery, Urology, Vascular, and Gynecology
Float between campuses as needed and supervise personnel involved in patient care delivery
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience with demonstrated strength across multiple surgical specialties
Current ACLS and BLS certifications
Proficiency with Cerner EMR
AHCA Fingerprinting required prior to start date (Florida requirement for all travelers)
