Contract | Travel | Days | 13-Week Assignment | 36 Hours per Week | 12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a Level 1 trauma operating room environment with a 1:1 patient ratio
Operate and assist with advanced surgical equipment including Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robotic systems
Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
Participate in a 1:4 weekend rotation on 12-hour shifts
Fulfill on-call obligations including one overnight trauma call (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM); specialty team call scheduled per team-specific rules (Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Ortho)
Demonstrate flexibility, accountability, and teamwork in a fast-paced surgical environment
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
Level 1 trauma experience required
Proficiency with Epic EMR
Ability to meet call requirements including overnight trauma call coverage
Preferred Experience / Skills
CNOR certification preferred
Experience in one or more surgical specialties: General, GU/GYN, Orthopedic Trauma, Orthopedic Joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, or Endovascular
