Travel RN – Operating Room (Day Shift)

Contract (Travel) | 26-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | 36–40 Hours Per Week | Occasional Weekends and Call Required | Projected Start: July 27, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care in a high-volume Operating Room serving patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric populations
- Assist with and support a broad range of surgical procedures including ENT, dental, plastics, trauma, and complex head and neck surgeries
- Operate within a fast-paced OR environment utilizing EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes throughout the perioperative continuum
- Fulfill on-call and occasional weekend responsibilities as required by unit needs
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience in ENT, dental, plastics, pediatrics, and/or Level 1 Trauma settings
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- AORN membership or certification
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR
