Key Responsibilities

• Provides individualized, holistic, and age-specific patient and family care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Develops and adapts comprehensive plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Serves as a patient and family advocate, encouraging participation in decision-making and upholding individual and family rights.
• Identifies and responds to patient and family educational needs through individualized education planning and adult-learning principles.
• Delegates and assigns care to other healthcare team members within their scope of practice and competency.
• Communicates and coordinates with healthcare team members and ancillary staff to expedite patient progress and optimize workflow.

Required Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of three years of recent RN experience in an RN role.
• Minimum of two years of recent RN experience in a specialty area.
• Strong charge RN experience required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing complex, high-risk, or unusual clinical situations and collaborating with interdisciplinary resources.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze socio-cultural variables and adapt nursing interventions to meet diverse patient needs.
