Contract | Full-Time | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:45–07:15) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care in an acute care operating room environment across trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic surgical cases
• Participate in on-call rotation distributed equally among nursing staff, which may include nights, evenings, and weekends (up to 6–8 shifts per 6-week period)
• Float between like units within the facility or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Work variable start times as assigned (7:00 or 9:00) and be available to cover night shifts as needed throughout the contract
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's

Required Qualifications

• Active, valid California RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
• Experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic surgical specialties required
• Current BLS certification
• Willingness and availability to fulfill on-call requirements including nights, evenings, and weekends
• Availability to work weekends as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Epic charting system
• Experience floating between units or facilities in a travel or multi-site capacity
• Familiarity with high-acuity, trauma-level surgical environments
