Job Summary:
The Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Naples, Florida. This role involves supporting adult and pediatric surgical patients across a variety of specialties including general, gynecology, gynecologic oncology, breast, plastics, orthopedics, and robotic surgeries. The RN will collaborate closely with the surgical team to deliver high-quality patient care, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and demonstrate clinical expertise with minimal supervision.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, Wednesday through Friday, 1845 to 0715, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Florida. One year of recent Operating Room experience is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) certifications from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association are required. Intermediate computer knowledge, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows. EPIC experience is required, and the candidate must pass an EPIC assessment on their first day of assignment.
- Preferred Qualifications: ACLS, PALS certifications are preferred. Circulating experience is required; scrub experience is preferred.
- Additional Information: The position may require taking on-call duties. The facility emphasizes adherence to standards and policies, and staff are expected to maintain clinical skills through ongoing education and training. No local candidates are accepted for this position.
