Location: Salmon, Idaho

Schedule: Days | Monday–Thursday | 9-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours/Week
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse with scrub and circulating experience to join its surgical services team. This role provides comprehensive perioperative care to patients from neonates through geriatrics while supporting a variety of surgical procedures.
Requirements
Active Idaho RN License or Compact RN License
Current BLS Certification
ACLS (or ability to obtain within one year of hire)
Recent 3yr Operating Room experience
Experience as both Circulating RN and Scrub RN (or willingness to scrub after training)
Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Must live more than 120 miles from the facility (no local travelers)
Responsibilities
Provide patient care throughout the pre-op, intra-op, PACU, and post-op phases
Prepare patients and operating rooms for surgery
Circulate and scrub during surgical procedures
Maintain sterile technique and surgical asepsis
Perform surgical counts and specimen handling
Operate and maintain surgical equipment and instrumentation
Monitor patient status and collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia providers
Provide patient education and discharge planning
Participate in quality improvement and performance initiatives
Take scheduled on-call assignments for emergency surgeries
Assignment Details
13-week travel assignment
36 guaranteed hours per week
Monday–Thursday
9-hour day shifts
On-call rotation required
Holiday coverage required
