Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) for a position at a healthcare facility located in Winchester, Virginia. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the surgical services department, supporting a variety of surgical specialties and procedures. The ideal candidate will possess experience in the operating room environment and be capable of working under established protocols to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Shift times are Monday through Friday from 6:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., totaling a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must have at least 2 years of OR experience, proficiency with Epic electronic medical record system, and current certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, and Virginia State License or Compact License.
• Specialty Experience: Robotics, General Surgery, Trauma, Orthopedics, Vascular, Gynecology, Urology, Bariatrics, Thoracic Surgery.
• Additional Information: This position requires working in a facility with a total of 495 beds. No float rotation is required. The dress code is scrubs in blue. The role involves on-call duties, which may include weekends, with approximately 6-8 calls per month.
