Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Operating Room (OR) at a major medical center located in Brooklyn, NY. This role involves working in a busy surgical environment with a focus on trauma, general, urology, gynecology, robotic, plastics, pediatric, orthopedic, and thoracic surgeries. The position requires experience in various surgical services and trauma cases, with opportunities to scrub and circulate cases across multiple specialties.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 11.5 hours per shift, with a minimum of 34.5 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid New York State RN licensure, BLS certification, minimum of 10 years of relevant OR experience including trauma level 1 cases, orthopedics, neurosurgery, robotics, and vascular surgery; experience in various surgical services and trauma cases
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma experience at level 1, robotic surgeries (DaVinci Xi), pediatrics, plastics, thoracic surgery, and general surgical experience
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The position is based at a large, multi-specialty operating room within a major academic medical center. No call requirements and occasional coverage of ambulatory surgery units are included.
