Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) nurse position based in a healthcare facility. This role involves circulating for diverse surgical cases across multiple specialties, including General/Gynecology/Urology, Orthopedics, Neuro/ENT/Oral/Plastic, and Peripheral Vascular. The position offers a dynamic work environment with rotating shifts, requiring flexibility and clinical expertise in perioperative care.

Job Details:

• Shift & Scheduling: Primarily 10-hour shifts (0700-1730), with alternating 8-hour post-meridiem shifts (1500-2330). Night shifts (2300-0700) may be available for experienced candidates. Weekly call responsibilities include one long call (Monday or Thursday) and one weekend every 5-6 weeks. Candidates will work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Certifications & Qualifications: Current certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association (AHA) and Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (AHA). Valid license to submit and at least 1 year of clinical experience.
• Experience & Education: Minimum of 1 year of perioperative nursing experience. Local candidates preferred within 80 miles of the facility.
• Additional Requirements: Scrub attire provided through vendor, navy blue color. Prior employment with Marshfield requires an end date at least 6 months before submission.
• Operational Details: EMR system in use is Cerner. The facility maintains a 24/7/365 staffing model with charge nurses always present. No bedside RN scrubbing is required; charge nurses and house supervisors are present on site.
• Other Notes: Clinicians must clock in and out on-site. Training includes a unit-specific orientation of 2-3 days plus case flow familiarization over 1-2 weeks. Floating to outpatient surgery centers may be required.
