Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Santa Rosa, California.

Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position in Santa Rosa, California. This role involves providing specialized surgical nursing care within the operating room environment. The ideal candidate will have trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic surgery experience, and must be available to work night shifts as needed.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, start times at 7:00 PM or 9:00 PM, minimum of 48 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: California nursing license in hand; at least 2 years of combined OR experience, including trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic procedures; BLS certification; experience with Epic charting system; minimum of 3 years of nursing experience with charge responsibilities preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Prior trauma level I or level II experience; experience with the following procedures: abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, craniotomy, total joint replacement, and robotic surgeries.
  • Additional Information: Must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). Travel and float requirements include working within the hospital or affiliated facilities, with scheduling dictated by unit needs. References covering the last 3 years are required.
