Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent PACU, Pre-Op, or critical care nursing experience preferred
• ACLS required
• BLS required
• PALS required
• Strong assessment, monitoring, and post-anesthesia recovery skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a high-acuity surgical recovery environment
• Experience caring for patients receiving general anesthesia is highly valued

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, attentive post-anesthesia care to patients in PACU and Pre-Op
• Monitor vital signs, pain levels, airway status, and overall recovery progression
• Support patients receiving general anesthesia from multiple procedural areas throughout the hospital
• Work closely with the surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure smooth patient flow
• Deliver care for Phase I and Phase II recovery patients with appropriate acuity management
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
• Adapt to a team-based environment that values professionalism, positivity, and high-quality patient care
