Tell us about the unit(s): 

• Number of Beds - 11

• Number of Staff – 20

• Type of staff:

o Day Shift – 1 charge and 3 with a tech when we are full

o Night Shift - 1 charge and 3 with a tech when we are full

• Patient Ratios – 4:1 but can be 5:1 (only if they have a tech)

• Type of equipment – Bedside vital signs machines in each room

• EMR – Meditech

• On Call Requirement – No call

• Floating Requirement – May float to Med Surg 

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for:  (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Telemetry interpretation

• PCU level of care or higher (No med surg nurses)

Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first. 

• Critical cardiac drips

• Hematoma management post sheat removal
