Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status using Epic electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Float to other units or facilities as needed when assignment requirements are met
- Complete required orientation modules prior to start and annually as assigned
Required Qualifications- Active California RN License (must be in hand at time of submittal)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Minimum 5 years of PICU experience
- Teaching hospital experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU)
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
