• Documentation System: Meditech preferred experience
• Floating: As needed

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required; temporary licenses are not accepted
• 2+ years of nursing experience required
• 2+ years of pediatric specialty experience required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• ENPC certification required
• CPI certification required
• Experience in pediatric emergency nursing and clinical support preferred
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and follow unit dress code standards

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to pediatric patients in a fast-paced emergency setting
• Perform thorough assessments, monitor patient conditions, and respond quickly to changes in status
• Support triage, treatment, and stabilization of pediatric emergency patients
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, effective care
• Maintain accurate and timely charting in the documentation system
• Promote a safe, family-centered environment for patients and caregivers
• Follow unit policies, attendance guidelines, and professional conduct expectations
