Key Responsibilities- Provide post-anesthesia care to pediatric patients in the PACU setting
- Rotate to Pre-Op as needed based on unit staffing and patient care demands
- Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia, identifying and responding to changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient transitions
- Float to other facilities within the health system as required by assignment needs
Required Qualifications- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of PACU or relevant clinical experience
- BSN degree required
- Prior travel nursing experience within the last 12 months
- Ability to float to other facilities within the health system
Preferred Experience / Skills- CPAN (Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse) certification
- Prior experience in a teaching hospital environment
