Travel Nurse RN - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op - $2,020 per week in Lafayette, LA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (07:00 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required License: Compact or state-specific license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: - Experience with Epic charting system - No first-time travelers accepted without required experience - No excessive requests for time off Description: Please ensure traveler is aware that upon accepting an assignment, there may be an expectation to stay at the facility during emergency events. Specific pay details for emergency events will be communicated as necessary. By signing the travel contract, you accept the obligation to report as assigned by your immediate unit manager during emergencies. Travelers should only apply if comfortable with this requirement. Weekend shifts will be included in the schedule. Floating to other floors is not required. Call requirements are not applicable. Must be able to accommodate block scheduling preferences. A minimum of 3 years of charge experience is required. Candidate must be prepared for various patient diagnoses and special procedures in the unit. Healthcare professionals must have skills in monitoring and managing complex patient needs. Experience in critical care and post-operative recovery is essential. Patients may include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support is a key component of this role. Candidates must have updated NURSYS reports submitted with their profile. References from managerial or supervisory roles are required prior to starting the contract. Compliance with all certification requirements is mandatory.
