Job Title: Registered Nurse - PACU

Location: Santa Fe, NM

Pay: $2,074.40 weekly

Shifts: Days - 8:00AM-6:30PM (4, 10-hour rotating shifts)

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specialized in Post Anesthetic Care Unit (PACU) for a travel assignment in Santa Fe, NM. This role involves providing quality patient care in a surgical services environment using EPIC as the EMR system. Nurses are expected to demonstrate effective clinical practice in treating patients post-anesthesia.

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - PACU
  • Meet expectations of applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders
  • Obtain and record initial assessment; establish priorities according to patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
  • Re-assess patients systematically to identify progress and trends requiring intervention
  • Develop and implement a measurable, individualized plan of care within the timeframe established by Nursing Standards of Care
  • Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation and evaluation of patient outcomes
  • Participate in patient/significant other health education and discharge planning
  • Implement and document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs
  • Evaluate the plan of care
  • Perform Point of Care testing procedures

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - PACU
  • Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing
  • Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certifications via AHA required
  • Knowledge and skills appropriate to the age/type of patient population served
  • Experience level determines clinical ladder status i.e., CN I status for under two years
