Shifts: Days - 8:00AM-6:30PM (4, 10-hour rotating shifts)
Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specialized in Post Anesthetic Care Unit (PACU) for a travel assignment in Santa Fe, NM. This role involves providing quality patient care in a surgical services environment using EPIC as the EMR system. Nurses are expected to demonstrate effective clinical practice in treating patients post-anesthesia.

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - PACU- Meet expectations of applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders
- Obtain and record initial assessment; establish priorities according to patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
- Re-assess patients systematically to identify progress and trends requiring intervention
- Develop and implement a measurable, individualized plan of care within the timeframe established by Nursing Standards of Care
- Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation and evaluation of patient outcomes
- Participate in patient/significant other health education and discharge planning
- Implement and document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs
- Evaluate the plan of care
- Perform Point of Care testing procedures
Requirements of the Registered Nurse - PACU- Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing
- Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certifications via AHA required
- Knowledge and skills appropriate to the age/type of patient population served
- Experience level determines clinical ladder status i.e., CN I status for under two years
