Travel Nurse RN - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op - $2,346 per week in Salina, KS

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PACU Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 5 years of hospital experience within the last five years License: Current Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Associate's degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing Description: Provides professional nursing care for assigned patients. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Follows professional standards and state regulations. Completes nursing database and care plan with concise and pertinent information. Reports findings to physician. Performs nursing procedures and interventions safely and efficiently. Demonstrates technical skill in nursing care. Safely defuses anxious, hostile, or violent behavior at the earliest possible stage. Identifies patient learning needs and provides education. Demonstrates appropriate and effective use of delegation. Effectively utilizes information provided in annual training and follows nurse practice act. Shifts will vary.
