Travel Nurse RN - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op - $2,694 per week in Hackensack, NJ

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Combined Procedural Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute hospital setting License: State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license Certifications: BLS - AHA, ACLS - AHA, PALS, Telemetry Must-Have: - 2 strong recent years of critical care, pre-op, and Recovery/PACU experience required - Strong background in Telemetry - Must be tele certified Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient needs. Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Develops, implements, and coordinates an individualized plan of care for assigned patients through initial and ongoing assessments. Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems, physician's medical diagnosis, and functional health framework. Performs therapeutic nursing interventions. Manages the care of patients. Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities. Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery. Provides patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Hybrid nurses may work in various areas, including ICU, Preop, and PACU. Strong experience in critical care is necessary. Preferred experience includes 3+ years in PACU.
