Registered Nurse – PACU / Cardiovascular Prep & Recovery (CRU)

Bellingham, WA

Contract | Evening Shift | 5x8 Hours | 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM | No Call Required

• Provide pre- and post-procedure nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular interventions within a dedicated 10-bed Cardiovascular Prep/Recovery Unit
• Support patient preparation and recovery for procedures performed across Cath Lab, Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, and Peripheral Vascular Lab settings
• Monitor patient status, manage recovery progress, and respond to changes in patient condition in a fast-paced cardiovascular environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary cardiovascular care teams to ensure safe and effective patient transitions through the care continuum
• Float within the health system as operationally needed per unit expectations

• Active Washington State RN license or compact license (proof of Washington license application accepted at time of submission; active license not required at submission)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in cardiovascular nursing with direct experience in prep and recovery for Cath Lab and EP Lab procedures
• Current BLS certification (required)
• Current ACLS certification (required)
• Two professional references from the past 2 years, with at least one from a supervisor (Charge Nurse accepted)
• Willingness to float within the health system as needed

• Current PALS certification
• Experience with Epic electronic health records, particularly within the past year

• Work within a specialized cardiovascular center featuring four procedural labs, offering exposure to a high-acuity and dynamic clinical environment
