About the Position

• Provide pre-operative (Pre-op) and post-anesthesia (PACU/Recovery Phase I & II) patient care, ensuring safe preparation and recovery of surgical patients.
• Monitor and assess patients by interpreting cardiac rhythms (EKG strips) and responding appropriately to any life-threatening changes.
• Assist in managing patients across a variety of surgical specialties including General, GYN, Orthopedics, ENT, Eyes, Podiatry, and Endoscopy cases.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and support staff (MAs, RTs) to facilitate patient admissions, discharges, and continuity of care.
• Accurately document patient information using Meditech EMR and paper charting systems, ensuring compliance with clinical standards.

Requirements

BLS, ACLS

PALS preferred
