    Job Title

    Travel RN – PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit)

    Location

    Santa Fe, New Mexico

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 4 x 10-hour rotating shifts | 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM | Projected Start: 06/29/2026

    Key Responsibilities
    • Obtain and record initial patient assessments, establishing care priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
    • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized, measurable plans of care consistent with nursing standards
    • Reassess patients systematically to identify trends and changes requiring clinical intervention
    • Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of patient data and modify the plan of care accordingly
    • Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning, documenting timely interventions
    • Float within surgical services as required and perform Point of Care testing procedures
    Required Qualifications
    • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
    • Current New Mexico RN license or active Compact state license
    • Current BLS certification via American Heart Association (AHA)
    • Current ACLS certification via AHA
    • Current PALS certification via AHA
    • Proficiency with EPIC EMR required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in PACU or surgical services
    • National professional nursing certification or additional nursing education (BSN or MSN)
    • Experience floating within a surgical services department
