Travel Nurse RN - Postpartum - $1,727 per week in Denver, CO

Job Title: Travel RN - Postpartum Profession: RN Specialty: Post Partum/Mom Baby Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of current acute care Postpartum RN experience License: Valid RN License Certifications: BLS & NRP preferred Must-Have: - Minimum of 1 year current acute care Postpartum RN experience - BLS & NRP required Description: This position is for a Travel RN specializing in Postpartum care. The unit has a total of 14 LDRPs and 2 ORs. There are approximately 60 staff members on the unit. The typical staff configuration includes 1 charge RN, 2-3 LD RNs, and 2-3 PP RNs on the night shift. Patient ratios are maintained per guidelines, with a max of 1:2 for Labor and Delivery and 3:1 for Postpartum. The unit uses Beacon EMR, CPN, and Meditech for documentation and management. Ideal candidates should be flexible, adaptable, and possess excellent communication skills. Experience in Labor & Delivery is preferred, as well as familiarity with Meditech. Typical procedures performed on the unit include versions, C/Sections, vaginal assisted deliveries, and D&Cs. Strong patient care experience is a priority for candidates applying for this position.
