Position: Pre-Op / PACU Registered Nurse (RN)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Schedule
Shift: Evenings
Hours:12:30 PM – 9:30 PM
Schedule: 40 hours/week plus on-call
Requirements
Critical Care experience required
Must be able to work in both Pre-Op and PACU
Experience recovering post-anesthesia patients
Ability to care for patients from multiple procedural areas

BLS

Key Responsibilities
Provide nursing care in both the Pre-Op and PACU departments.
Prepare patients for surgical and procedural interventions.
Recover patients following anesthesia.
Monitor airway, hemodynamics, pain control, and post-operative recovery.
Care for patients from:
Operating Room (OR)
Cardiac Cath Lab
Electrophysiology (EP) Lab
Endoscopy
Interventional Radiology (IR)
Labor & Delivery/Mother's Place
Document patient care in Meditech Expanse.
