Job Title: RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Candidates must possess overall PCU experience Description: The Progressive Care Unit has a total of 16 beds. The unit is staffed by 42 individuals. During the day shift, the typical staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, and 2 Patient Care Technicians. The night shift consists of 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, and 2 Patient Care Technicians. Patient ratios are maintained at 4:1. The unit utilizes a collaborative electronic medical record system. There are no on-call or floating requirements for staff. Ideal candidates will possess a collaborative and team-oriented personality. Candidates lacking the required experience will not be considered for this role. Preference will be given to those with BLS and ACLS certifications.
