Must-Have:
1. Experience in PCU, MS, and MS Tele.
2. Proficiency in Epic charting system.
3. Ability to float between units.
Description:
Minimum experience required is 1 year.
First-time travelers are accepted.
Patient population includes adults to geriatrics.
Float requirements include all MS, MS Tele, and PCU units within the hospital.
Patient ratio in the PCU is 1:4-5 and in MS/MS Tele is 1:5-6.
The unit utilizes Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR for documentation and reporting.
Scrub color is navy blue.
Travelers will be expected to work every other weekend, averaging 6 weekends in a 13-week contract.
If a major holiday occurs during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work that holiday.
Compliance is required to start on time, with a two-week push back if not compliant.
Travelers should possess general skills for all potential MS, MS Tele, and PCU diagnoses.
Key skills include management of ventilated patients, blood product administration, and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
The facility supports interdisciplinary teams such as IV teams, respiratory services, and social services.
This position will require floating to MS, Tele, and PCU specialties.
Candidates must be available for the total assignment period including mandatory holiday shifts.
All RTO must be finalized at the time of submission.
