Job Title: IMCU/Step Down Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (07:00 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 Year License: Current Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Experience caring for higher-acuity patients - Experience with trach and ventilator patients - Experience managing critical care drips and titrated infusions - Experience with intermediate care and step-down level patients - Experience caring for complex cardiac and respiratory patients Description: We are seeking IMCU/Step Down Registered Nurses. The ideal candidate should have experience with higher-acuity patients. Responsibilities may include floating to other units based on skill sets. Nurses will be expected to work weekends every other week. Ratios for patient care are typically 1:3 and 1:4. Candidates must possess a vehicle for this assignment. Flexibility regarding the schedule and floating is essential. The facility provides care for critical patients who are transitioning from critical care to stable conditions. Nurses will engage in interdisciplinary support and may work with diverse patient diagnoses. This position will involve caring for patients requiring monitoring and specialized interventions.
