Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,280 per week in Washington, DC

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience required, Cardiac Tele experience required License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse Certifications: NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS Required; BSN highly desired Must-Have: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program; 2 years Cerner experience required Description: Must live 50 miles away from the unit. This is a 48-bed cardiac-focused stepdown unit. There are 4 bed pulmonary care beds and 10 cardiac surgery beds (traveler not required to take). Frequent IV drips include Heparin, Milrinone, Lasix, and Bumex. Common diagnoses include CHF, NSTEMI, arrhythmias, and vascular surgery. Skills-based hiring is enabled. No winter plan is required.
