Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,401 per week in Marshfield, WI

Job Title: IMC/Tele RN - Cardiac/Tele/Dialysis Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: IMC/Tele RN Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent RN experience in a busy hospital environment License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA) Must-Have: Experience with post-procedural cath lab patients and management of TR band compression devices Description: This position requires a dedicated and experienced registered nurse. The unit provides care for cardiac medical and surgical patients. Common diagnoses include heart conditions such as CHF, arrhythmias, and post-cardiac surgery recovery. Nurse to patient ratios are 1:4 on days and 1:5-6 on nights after 2300. RNs are required to titrate drips, including Nitroglycerin, Heparin, and others. There is a 24/7 central telemetry unit that monitors all non-critical care patients. RT services are available 24/7 for support with nebulizers and inhalers. RNs are responsible for administering incentive spirometry. Weekend and holiday shifts are required every other schedule. The charge nurse will take a modified assignment. Nurse aides are available to support patient care ratios. Floating may be required based on unit census. Scrubs are not provided, and there is no specific dress code for scrubs. All clinicians must clock in and out during their shift. Candidates must disclose if they have previously worked for this organization. The cancellations policy allows for client cancellations with prior notice. Experience in managing chest pain and post-cardiac surgical patients is essential.
