Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,458 per week in San Diego, CA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Float Duration: 18 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years of PCU experience License: Active California state license required Certifications: ACLS, NIH Must-Have: - IV start, Telemetry, Phlebotomy, and A-line experience Description: NEO Dates include October and November Starts. Holidays: Must work 2 out of 3 of the following holidays: - Christmas Day and Eve - Thanksgiving Day and after - New Year's Eve and Day Candidates with no RTO and a clinical pass may be eligible for special offers. Float Pool locations include multiple campuses, requiring flexibility to work in four locations during the contract. Nurses may float to emergency department inpatient overflow when necessary. Assigned to a PCU float unit, with potential shifts to a new unit that may require cardiology and neuro skills. PCU/IMU float ratio: - IMU: 1:3 - Telemetry: 1:4 - Med-Surg: 1:5 Documentation systems include industry-standard tools. A 4-week schedule will be provided two weeks in advance. No blocked or self-scheduling is permitted. Nurses will receive a notification two hours before a shift to confirm the location for that day. A background check policy is in place, with certain conditions to be noted prior to submission. Return staff policy requires a one-year gap before returning as a traveler. Modules are non-billable and included in the orientation and annual training.
