Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required. License: Permanent RN license required. Certifications: BCLS and CPI required. Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred. Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Behavioral Health specialty. This unit focuses on Adolescent Mood Disorders. The nurse will care for patients with diagnoses such as Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder, Depression, ADHD, Psychotic Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Anxiety, PTSD, Adjustment Disorder, Conduct Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Intellectual Disability. The nurse may be required to work as the charge RN, without an increase in pay for those hours. All staff are expected to float to any age population as scheduling requires. Each shift will have a patient-to-nurse ratio of approximately five patients during the day, eight patients at night, and five patients on weekends. Orientation will consist of specific training hours. The facility has a strong stance against accepting medical marijuana cards in support of addictions treatment teams. A drug screening will be conducted, and successful completion is required. Candidates must submit time-off requests with their initial application.
