Must-Have: Solid clinical judgment, assessment, delegation, and leadership qualities.
Description:
Float pool nurses should have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 6 months to 1 year in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting.
Float nurses will be utilized in various inpatient units across the facility, which include children, adolescents, and adult age groups.
Candidates will need solid clinical judgment, assessment, delegation, and leadership qualities.
Nurses may be required to work as the charge RN during a shift; there will not be an additional charge pay for those hours.
The facility has a strong stance against accepting medical marijuana cards as part of its addictions treatment efforts.
Candidates may be required to float between units to meet facility needs.
All candidates must pass a drug screening prior to onboarding.
Floating to any age population is expected when scheduling requires it.
Candidates must have all required documentation ready before starting.
