Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with psychiatric or behavioral health experience
• At least 1 year of nursing experience preferred
• Experience in emergency nursing, behavioral health, or psychiatric care settings
• Strong patient assessment, communication, and de-escalation skills
• Ability to work overnight shifts in a calm, compassionate, and professional manner
• Travel nursing experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients with behavioral health and psychiatric needs
• Complete thorough patient assessments and monitor changes in clinical status
• Support patient safety, stabilization, and therapeutic communication strategies
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and carry out patient care plans
• Respond appropriately to changing patient needs in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient confidentiality
