- Previous charge experience preferred
- Charting system experience required (Epic)
- Patient ratio experience preferred
- Experience in trauma level I or II preferred
- Skills in care and maintenance of implanted ports, obtaining 12 lead EKG/ECG, PICC lines, and IVs
- Imaging and cardiac experience
Description:
The Imaging Registered Nurse will provide care and support for patients in the radiology department.
This role requires knowledge of various imaging modalities, including MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT, Diagnostic, Ultrasound, and Mammography.
The nurse will care for patients across all age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
Strong interdisciplinary support is available including IV teams, interpretation services, and lift teams.
The daily census may reach up to 400 patients, with a focus on oncology, transplant, and cardiac populations.
Participation in special procedures and use of advanced equipment is expected.
Flexibility to float within the facility based on census and unit requirements is essential.
Adherence to required certifications and patient care standards is necessary for this role.
