Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation- Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the age and needs of the patient population in med/surg departments.
- Obtain and record initial assessments and establish care priorities.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care.
- Implement and document interventions and evaluate care plans effectively.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
- Delegate work assignments and coordinate team efforts.
- Participate in staff orientation and serve as a resource to visitors and staff.
Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation- Current New Mexico RN license or Compact state license.
- BLS Certification via AHA required.
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
- Relevant experience and knowledge in med/surg patient care.
