Banner Health | Registered Nurse
- License: Current RN license valid in the state of practice, qualifying compact license, or temporary/interim license.
- Certification: BLS required; additional certifications may be required by specialty.
- Acute care travel experience: Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital RN experience, with work in the applicable specialty within the past 12 months.
- Preferred qualifications: BSN, professional specialty certification, and related education/experience.
- Responsibilities: Perform assessments, develop and revise individualized care plans, provide direct nursing care, monitor treatment response, educate patients/families, coordinate discharge planning, and document care.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with interdisciplinary providers and appropriately delegate and supervise licensed and unlicensed personnel.
- Compliance: Maintain annual clinical competencies. Fingerprint clearance cards are required for certain designated facilities and programs.
- Physical demands: Frequent standing, walking, bending, and assisting with patient transfers; may require lifting up to 75 pounds.
