Job Summary – RN PCU / Med-Surg Telemetry

Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Medical-Surgical Telemetry
Position Type: Travel RN
Shift: Night Shift, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week
Contract Duration: System lists 90 weeks — confirm the actual assignment length.
 

Job Details

• Experience Required: 2 years of acute-care PCU or Med-Surg Telemetry experience.
• Patient Care Areas: PCU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry, based on the facility's greatest staffing need and the candidate's skills.
• EMR: Epic.
• Travel Experience: Required.
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (EOW).
• Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday (EOH).
• Floating: May float within the facility according to skill set or to other sites within a 40-mile radius.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license appropriate for the assignment; specific state requirements are not provided.
• Minimum 2 years of acute-care PCU or Med-Surg Telemetry experience.
• Previous travel nursing experience.
• Epic experience.
• Completion of the RN Step Down (PCU) specialty exam and skills assessment, including for candidates being considered for Med-Surg roles under this posting.
