Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $1,955 per week in Augusta, GA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Telemetry Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year; first timers accepted License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Charge nurse experience preferred Description: Minimum experience of 1 year required. First timers are accepted. Charge nurse experience is requested. Patient population includes adults to geriatrics. Clinical skills required include post myocardial infarction, heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, and peripheral vascular disease. Experience with peritoneal dialysis, telemetry, EKG, and Doppler is necessary. Staffing ratio is 1:5 with 16 beds and an average daily census of 16. Unit systems include Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR. Scrub color is navy blue. Floating is required within the facility and scope of practice as needed. No call requirements are in place. The traveler is expected to work major holidays during their assignment period. Compliance is required to start on time; delays in compliance may affect start date. A clinical screen will be conducted to determine clinical fit. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. All time off requests must be finalized at the time of submission. Maximum time off allowed is 7 days per contract. All holiday requests must comply with the scheduled holiday policy. Onboarding must be completed in a timely manner as specified.
