Job Summary Telemedicine Telemetry Nurse in a healthcare setting. This position involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards. The role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care and providing health teaching and counseling to patients.
Job Details
Shift: Nights; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, and 0 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree of Nursing; certifications appropriate for the unit or service are preferred
Responsibilities:
Use resources as needed to promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization
Assess health status through ongoing collection and assessment of health data
Perform health teaching and health counseling
Execute delegated medical functions and monitor therapy and treatment plans
Document in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need
May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
