TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Manchester, New Hampshire, 03102!

Job Title: RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: ACLS required Description: Unit Information: There are 23 beds with 1 treatment room. The unit has a total of 58 staff members. Day shift staff includes a Charge Nurse, 6 RNs, 2 Patient Care Technicians, 1 Medication Technician, and 1 Department Coordinator until 7 PM. Night shift staff includes a Charge Nurse, 5 RNs, 2 Patient Care Technicians, and 1 Medication Technician. Patient Ratios: Days/Evenings - RNs (1-4), Nights (1-5). Type of Equipment: Telemetry monitoring with some rooms hard-wired, vein finder for IV therapy, portable pulse oximetry, continuous oximetry, manual/automatic vital sign machines, blood glucose machines, mechanical lifts, and Dopplers. EMR: Allscripts, with medication scanning capabilities. Patient Population: The patient population includes hemodynamically stable myocardial infarctions, acute and chronic heart failure, new onset atrial fibrillation with or without rapid ventricular response, stable dysrhythmias, and procedural patients. Common procedures involve cardiac catheterizations without interventions, ablations, cardioversions, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators, and pacemaker management. Additional patient populations may include ICU transfers and patients requiring non-invasive respiratory support. Typical Skill Sets: Candidates must have cardiac telemetry knowledge and ACLS certification. Experience with cardiac medical and procedural patients is essential. A strong background in medical-surgical nursing with telemetry is preferred. Best Personality Fit: Engaging and team-oriented individuals are encouraged to apply.
