Schedule / Job TypeContract | Night Shift | 3×12-Hour Shifts (19:00-07:30)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit during night shift hours
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Participate in on-call coverage as needed based on unit demands
- Float to other units or campuses within scope of practice depending on census and unit need; travelers are expected to be flexible with floating, with notice typically provided approximately 1.5 hours prior to shift start
- Complete required facility modules and orientation components as assigned
Required Qualifications- Active California RN License (must be verifiable via Nursys, uploaded within the last 2 weeks)
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
- ACLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
- NIHSS certification
- CPI certification
- Minimum 3 years of RN Telemetry experience
- Minimum 6 months of travel nursing experience
- Must live within a 50-mile radius to be considered at the local rate; candidates outside the 50-mile radius are also welcome to apply
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience floating across multiple units or campuses
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring systems and cardiac rhythms
- Experience working in a high-acuity or fast-paced hospital environment
