This role involves providing specialized care for adult patients requiring cardiac telemetry monitoring, including management of cardiac drips and interpretation of dysrhythmias. The position is based in a healthcare facility that prioritizes clinical excellence and patient safety.
Job Details
Certifications: CA Registered Nurse (RN), ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
Education Requirements: Valid CA State RN License.
Years of Experience: 2 years of experience with cardiac telemetry or step-down unit preferred.
Location Requirements: Valid CA RN license uploaded within the last 2 weeks.
Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Shift Time: Nights
Additional responsibilities include blood product administration, central line care, management of pacemakers, and monitoring telemetry on the unit.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in a cardiac telemetry or step-down setting and demonstrate proficiency in interpreting dysrhythmias and managing cardiac drips.
Candidates are required to complete onboarding labs within 3-5 days of contract signing, with full compliance documentation due 10 days prior to start date.
Modules are completed during orientation, with hours recorded through e-learning.
