Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry | Travel Assignment

Location: Concord Hospital, Concord, New Hampshire
Assignment Type: Travel or Local Contract
Shift: 12-Hour Nights

Position Overview

Concord Hospital is seeking an experienced and compassionate Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join its high-performing Telemetry Care Unit. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care to adult patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring while working collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary care teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to patient status changes.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
  • Recognize and respond to cardiac emergencies and rapid patient deterioration.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
  • Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
  • Maintain compliance with hospital standards, regulatory requirements, and patient safety initiatives.
  • Participate in shift reports, care conferences, and quality improvement activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Minimum 2 years of recent acute care RN experience.
  • Recent Telemetry experience required.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification Prior to start.
  • Experience caring for patients with cardiac, respiratory, and medical-surgical conditions.
  • Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills.

Schedule & Assignment Details

  • Shift: 12-Hour Nights
  • Assignment Length: 13 Weeks (Potential for extension)
  • Employment Type: Travel or Local Contract
