This travel assignment offers an exciting opportunity to work in an acute care setting, focusing on cardiac medical and surgical patients. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Telemetry- Manage cardiac medical and surgical patients post cath lab and post cardiac surgery
- Titrate drips including Nitroglycerin, Heparin, Diltiazem, Amiodarone, Lasix, Bumex, and Dobutamine
- Collaborate with the central telemetry unit for monitoring and interpreting patient strips
- Utilize and manage chest pain and TR band compression devices effectively
- Participate in a schedule with block scheduling and weekend/holiday rotations
Requirements of the RN - Telemetry- Valid RN licensure with a submission license
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in a busy hospital environment
- Proficiency in managing post-procedural cardiac patients and telemetry
