Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit, with primary assignment to a dedicated floor unit
- Float between two campus locations as needed based on staffing and patient care needs
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Document patient assessments, care plans, and interventions accurately using EPIC electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Complete required onboarding modules and orientation training within designated timeframes
Required Qualifications
- Valid California State RN License required and must be in-hand at time of application (EMSA not accepted)
- BLS and all required certifications must be in-hand at time of application
- EPIC experience required and must be documented in work history
- Two (2) supervisor references required at time of application
- No background or Nursys hits accepted
- Local candidates are welcome and will be considered at the standard rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Telemetry or step-down unit setting
- Experience working in a multi-campus or float pool environment
- Familiarity with UC Learning Center or similar hospital-based learning management systems
