Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a telemetry setting, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Complete required orientation modules, including Epic training (estimated 11.5 hours for Telemetry) and any applicable compliance modules
- Adhere to facility policies, compliance standards, and unit-specific protocols throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Valid California RN State License required — must be in hand at time of application (EMSA not accepted)
- All required certifications must be in hand at time of application
- Epic EMR experience required — must be documented in work history
- Two (2) supervisor references required at time of application
- No Nursys or background hits accepted
- Local candidates are welcome and will be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a telemetry or cardiac care setting
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring equipment and cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Experience completing onboarding modules independently and in a timely manner
