Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit, monitoring and responding to cardiac rhythms and patient status changes
• Float as needed to like units or lower acuity units across multiple campuses within the health system (excluding the ED)
• Expected to work 4 weekend shifts per 4-week cycle and at least one holiday, including the associated holiday weekend
• Complete all assigned non-billable compliance modules by the designated deadline each week
• Maintain current AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN license in hand at time of submittal (Temporary or Permanent; no EMSA)
• AHA BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of concurrent experience in Telemetry
• Travel nursing experience required
• EPIC experience, or combined EPIC/Cerner experience, within the last 6 months of work history
• 1 supervisory-level reference required at time of submission
• Must live more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates who have been on assignment in the San Diego area for 9 or more months are considered local and are not eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating across multiple hospital campuses or within large health systems
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring in a high-volume acute care environment
• Flexibility with scheduling, including availability for same-day or next-business-day interviews
