What You’ll Do:
Provide routine and complex nursing care to adult patients in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Utilize the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided accurately.
Educate patients and families about their health conditions and treatments, addressing their psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
Collaborate with care team members and delegate tasks as appropriate to ensure seamless patient care.
Maintain compliance with professional standards and hospital protocols.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of Urology nursing experience in a clinical setting.
Valid RN license in the state of employment or a compact state.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
EPIC experience preferred but not mandatory.
Strong assessment skills and ability to manage complex patient needs.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Preferred Education & Experience:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is preferred but not required.
At least 1 year of specialized Urology nursing experience.
Other Requirements:
Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Ability to start ASAP.
Must be comfortable working in a clinical setting with adult patients.
Physical ability to perform nursing duties as required.
