Description

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a hospital setting requiring an active Texas OT or COTA license and at least 1 year of experience.

Details

• 13-week assignment with a 7A-7P shift schedule
• Work across all areas of the hospital based on requests for patient evaluations and therapy treatment plans, including the inpatient rehab unit
• Float to all areas of the facility as needed
• On-call requirement of approximately 4 shifts per month

Requirements

• Current unencumbered Texas license for Occupational Therapy or Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant required, if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Inpatient rehab experience preferred
• HCA Meditech experience preferred
• Flexible, self-starter personality fit preferred

Additional Information

• Occupational Therapists complete evaluations and build and direct therapeutic plans of care for patients
• Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants complete therapeutic plans of care under the direction of a physical therapist
• Navy blue HCA scrubs required
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
